Types of papers
Prints are printed by Miartè, a highly qualified lab for ink-jet printing. Available papers for my artworks are high quality matte paper or cotton paper (ca 300 g/m²).
Cotton paper - also called "rag paper", it's a textured, matte paper that keeps its consistency and colour longer because it's not treated with OBAs (optical brightening agents). For this reason, it's a warmer white compared to common copy papers we use everyday. Cotton papers can preserve their original state for even 100 years long (or 200 years, if kept in an album)! Cotton paper suits sketches perfectly as it gives this types of artworks an extra traditional feel.
High quality matte paper - this paper is characterized by a velvety feel on its surface. It's treated with OBAs (optical brightening agents), so colours appear bright and the picture very clear.
One of the many great characteristics of matte papers is that no matter what light conditions they are, they are perfectly readable from any angle as light doesn't reflect on their surface.
